Mabysomebody here has experiaced something similar.My 2011 B8 2.0 TFSI 211 developed strange misfire / fuel cut under 2000 rpm when engine is cold. HertS3 Registered User My mechanic actually showed me a failed diaphragm from a 2.0 TFSI Audi engine, failed around similar mileage to mine (50k), which he said is very poor indeed. Likely not the same reason as plagued a range of 2.0 TFSI engines - probably early run-in problems instead. HertS3
Thepossible symptoms: your engine is stalling. your engine is rattling. check engine light is coming on. low fuel pressure codes. oil pressure light. But the only way to be truly 100% sure is to bring your Audi VW 2.0T into MINHS Automotive for a thorough inspection so we can confirm if this is indeed the problem causing the issues.
audisay the tfsi engines are within tolerance if they consume 0.5 litres per 1000kms (620miles). I had a A4 B8 2.0 on MY11 a few years back. I wrote to Audi CEO on linked in, explaining the problem, how some cars had been repaired others not.
